Hurrah to @Morrisons Dundee. We run a stroke communication group there. Today they laid on Christmas dinner for all group members/ speech therapists. Staff had a whip-round & bought a bag of Xmas gifts for a group member who spends Xmas alone. Magical 🎁

Access to the outdoors is so important. For people not always able to go out, positioning seating near an open door or window can provide fresh air and views of what is happening (e.g flowers or bird table in the garden). #withOTuCAN@alzscot

When lots of things are going on around us, it’s difficult to focus on the task in hand. In #dementia, distractions can be heightened & hard to screen out. Consider background noise & visual distractions. Choose the right place for chatting. #WithSLTuCan
