Couldn’t be more excited to be one of four election pilots for early voting. Polls open in two minutes (and there’s a queue in the RVP shopping centre!)
@ThreshedThought Thanks for all your efforts and updates Mike. Maybe just cut off our supply completely for 24 hours, use that time to fill up the reservoir and drinking tanks, then turn our supplies back on? At least we would then know where we stand regarding supply and could plan accordingly.
@kentishsal Sill finalising that plan apparently. What have they been doing all this time? And why are they only just drawing up plans now, business continuity planning clearly not a priority!
If you’ve got lots of plastic bottles feel free to stamp on them and squash them!
Then into your recycling bin.
Our recycling crews would be delighted if you did.
When there are so many bottles to collect squashing makes more room in the recycling truck.
Thanks for helping.

Six areas of Tunbridge Wells do not have a parish/town council: Culverden, Pantiles, Park, Sherwood, St James’ and St John’s.
We’re carrying out a Community Governance Review to find out if you think they should.
Have your say by 3 August.

Lots of people came along to our stall at the market on Sunday to talk about the Community Governance Review and whether certain areas of Tun Wells should have a parish/town council. Thank you if you were one of them. We’ll be at the July market too.

Bins out early this week please.
This week’s hot weather means from tomorrow bin collections will start earlier (which hopefully will make conditions a little better for the crews out collecting) so please have your bin out early, ideally the night before.
Thank you.
