If you want to build real wealth, stop putting money in a savings account. The dollar has lost over 97% of its value since 1913, meanwhile real estate has gained over 300% of value in that same time period. Real estate moves, your cash doesn’t.
The truth is, you don’t get more business because you never pick up the phone. Someone wants to partner with you, you’re busy. Someone wants to buy from you, you’re busy. Someone wants to create content with you, you’re busy. But, you have no business to show for all that busy.
1 loan officer in. 2 out. 📉
81K LOs left the business in the last 12 months. Only 43K came in.
The banks took the biggest hit. The fast, independent lenders are taking the deals.
If your lender disappeared mid-deal this year, you already know.
The best way to lose money:
Listening to someone online that says you can buy 500K worth of real estate with 0 dollars. If it were that easy, everyone would own real estate
Someone I am training didn’t believe this. I record my sales calls so I played him a call, I had with someone worth 609 million. The client was just direct and even told me if I can’t get to point B, we should just stop speaking about this. People with money, understand small talk takes away time; time, to them, is more valuable than anything else I can offer.
642 FICO. 708 VantageScore.
Same borrower. Same credit file. Different model.
One number gets you a worse rate. The other might get you approved.
Most borrowers never ask which score their lender pulled. Ask.

@Codie_Sanchez Absolutely fair to say…it’s also fair to expect them to not give a 2 week notice, and jump the moment someone offers them more pay. I see arguments for the employer and employee. If we value them for KPI, we should expect them to just value us as a dollar sign.
Any lender who tells you that ground-up construction only takes 6 weeks to complete, doesn’t know what they’re talking about. You need zoning, permits, hope the weather holds up, materials, labor, electrical, plumbing, etc. that isn’t done in 6 weeks
@GrantCardone It’s not housing that’s an issue this time, it’s inflation. In 2027, strategic investors are going to set themselves up for life. The people who don’t, have zero liquidity in the bank, and no assets to borrow from.
@danellisona Misinformation. So many people make decisions, pick sides, take actions based on something they saw from a stranger on social or YouTube, and don’t bother researching a single sentence to see if what they are trusting is even remotely correct.
@PeterSchiff What will be sacrificed isn’t programs, it’s the middle class. Top 20% of earners will feel a little pain but not much. The bottom 20% get the freebies so they’re fine. The middle 60% are who are going to become extinct slowly over 2 decades.
For those of you wondering, I am not on Facebook. Not because I don’t like the platform but because they suck, and will happily give up your profile and messages to whatever government agency asks for it without telling you. Hope this clears the air
He is doing those kids a favor. I’ve meet dozens of people, over the last 20 years, who have a degree and never worked a day in their fields, because they couldn’t decide a major so they picked whatever was easy or convenient. 100K later, they have a 55K base and 15-25 more years to go in the debt they can’t get rid of.
The 2021 multifamily crowd didn't buy bad buildings. They bought bad debt.
"We'll just refi in 3 years" was the whole business plan.
Were they unlucky, or was that underwriting never real? 👇
