@RyanJDay Those few years were more of a quality squad than we have now but as seen, built on sinking sand! If this current ownership gets a team anyway near that level then I don't think it'll just be a few seasons in Europe... big IF getting to that though this day n age
@OllieHolt22@theofficialfwa But when have we ever??? I'm so confused by this. Nearly 30 years watching football that I can remember and I don't ever remember fans wanting other teams to do well in Europe
@pompeanut1898 I'm 35, I don't know how old you are but for me that has never been the case. It's always been the case where you want the English team to lose, Especially in finals. It's funnier that way. Is it better for the game if English teams win? Maybe, but fans don't wanna see that
@GrahamSmyth Mainly the second half. I thought first half was decent. But yeah I think we can give the players some slack for having 45mins off this season π€£
@GrahamSmyth A fantastic press conference from him in my opinion. He's 100% right to say he wants ambitions to be met. And to bring up the fact we failed bielsa as a club. To me it shows he's serious about wanting to take us to next level
@marcus_buckland@Michael_TSB 100% mate. That's the only reason. Absolutely nothing to do with winning the ball and it not being a foul. Your reason is correct
@GrahamSmyth Worst thing is if the ref realised he already booked him then he wouldn't have shown that. He was trying to show he's the boss and take control. Well that failed for him. Was no where near a yellow either. Johnson's foul not a yellow but that is?
@TheAwayFansVids Ampadu? You mean the lad who was at Exeter's academy for nearly 10 years. Played multiple games in the first team for them before being taken by Chelsea? But yeah they brought him through their academy π
