Helen Joseph Hospital is buckling under a worsening staffing crisis, with doctors threatening to close the emergency unit due to severe staff shortages. Several doctors have gone unpaid since April due to administrative failures.

There is a Zimbabwean squatter camp in a yard right opposite it.
These were olaced there by the farmers around the area.
Hotel has been on the market forever.
I keep going back to this because it really should not have to be said.
Friends, please be sensitive to the plight of those of us who are unemployed, self-employed or between jobs.
If your friend is a cook or chef and you happen to be hosting a luncheon, dinner or umsebenzi, and you ask that friend to handle the catering, you have to pay them their professional fee. The same applies to the photographer, designer, publicist, MC, decorator, musician or whatever professional service your friend provides.
Friendship does not cancel the need to earn a living. In fact, knowing that your friend is unemployed should make you more deliberate about putting money in their pocket when an opportunity arises.
Please respect us enough not to put us in the uncomfortable position of having to spell out the obvious, negotiate our worth with friends, or ask whether we are actually going to be paid.
If you would have paid a stranger to do the work, pay the friend too.
I’m trying to help this young man, Thabiso Mofokeng from Koppies, Free State, find his late mother’s family. 🙏🏼
His late mother was Nonhlanhla Mkhwanazi (pictured), who passed away in 2003. It is believed that her family is from Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
Thabiso remembers his uncle as Nkosinathi Mkhwanazi, who was believed to be a police officer, as well as two aunts, Thobile Mkhwanazi and Nontobeko Mkhwanazi.
Thabiso has had no contact with his mother’s family since her burial in 2003. He was only six years old at the time.
He is simply hoping to reconnect with his mother’s family and finally get to know the people he has been separated from for more than two decades. ❤️
I’m appealing to the people of Empangeni and anyone who may recognise these names or have information about the family to please come forward.
If you have any information, please send me a DM, and I will make sure it reaches Thabiso.
Please share this widely. Someone in your network may know this family and could help reunite them after 23 years. 🙏🏼
MISSING LEARNER: MOTHER BREAKS DOWN IN TEARS AS SEARCH FOR ANISHKA INTENSIFIES 💔
A young learner from Hoërskool Die Burger has been reported missing, leaving her family, friends and school community desperately searching for answers.
Her mother is heartbroken and pleading for her daughter to come home safely. The family fears that Anishka may be under the influence of drugs and could be unable to find her way home on her own.
There are also growing concerns about her safety, particularly in the Newlands area.
According to people close to the situation, some young people who may have information about Anishka’s whereabouts are reportedly too afraid to speak out.
If you know something, please say something. Even the smallest piece of information could help bring this young learner home.
Anishka, wherever you are, please come home. Your mother is waiting for you. Your family is desperate to know that you are safe. ❤️😭
Please share this as widely as possible. A mother should not have to spend another night wondering where her child is. Bring Anishka home safely. 🙏💔
