Question we go in the chat tonight. Why is Notre Dame ranked ahead of Texas and Oklahoma? Same records, but Texas and OU have better wins.

Curt Cignetti has made all these other coaches look so bad.
Bill O’Brien yells about building when they’re 1-8 in year two, and Cignetti — also in year two — has Indiana wondering whether the CFP committee will rank the Hoosiers No. 1 or No. 2.
Bill O’Brien explodes at media member, who asked for a message to the fan’s displeasure with the teams current 1-8 record.
“I’m glad you’re down, I’m not down, nobody’s down. We’re fighting, we’re competing…”
Your inability to understand how any of this works is astounding.
BC has money to pay players now because of rev share.
They are still 1-8.
That is bad.
Indiana, which has slightly more money but not tons more because BC now has rev share, is 9-0.
That is good.
You are what your record says you are.
@JipperCones@NewtonJedi It’s OK if you don’t understand how this stuff works, but don’t argue with people who do.
A few minutes ago, you thought rev share started next year.
Because of rev share, there’s probably a much smaller gap than you think.
Maybe $20 mil to $15 mil.
@dayxdaygbr@HecoxMichelle I love how you guys act like Indiana has Michigan’s history.
It’s literally the losingest program in college football history.
The discourse isn’t making good coaches dispensable. It’s exposing bad ones who make excuses.
@HecoxMichelle@dayxdaygbr He went down two divisions to Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Then Elon.
THEN JMU.
He walked through the wilderness to get here.
Also, Indiana sucked and had always sucked.
It’s not just O’Brien. It’s every coach who says they need time to build when their team is clearly regressing in year two or year three.
Cignetti has crushed those excuses.
But if you want a more apples to apples comparison, explain why he’s doing so much worse than Jake Dickert at Wake.
Felt bad hearing @BarstoolBigCat talk about Wisconsin. They seem hell bent on running it back, and I'm not sure throwing some money at the roster after the past two seasons will make much of a difference.
NEW: @BarstoolBigCat on Wisconsin:
“It's going to take time to rebuild this, and it's not gonna be Luke Fickell and Chris McIntosh... Going another year down this road is just delaying it”

@frednashpgh Eh. Jake Dickert went from Washington State to Wake Forest this year and has them 5-3.
Pretty comparable program to BC.
There are no excuses when you get paid that much money. The job is to win.
