So Shocked. Hector went out of his way to help me submit my PSDP award and was so gracious with his time despite being so busy to this lowly trainee who wasn’t even in his division. My heart hurts for his family and their indescribable loss.

Incredibly sad news. We lost a #PedsICU giant yesterday. Hector Wong, MD passed away unexpectedly. He was division head at Cincinnati for over 20 years before stepping up to interim chair. He leaves a massive legacy of sepsis research and trainees spread around the world.

@GovMikeDeWine please do not sign HB 218 if it makes it to your desk. This bill will cause needless loss of life in the most vulnerable. We have a safe effective vaccine and companies (ie hospitals) should protect the immunocompromised at work and where they get health care!
