@_NotA_Bot_ Thereโs no cheap easy solution but need a new bridge over river in south Philly near airport . Current Delair bridge is subject to crazy delays from freight trains /large ships passing on the river plus is nearly 9 miles the wrong direction . Line has low ridership due to this
@_NotA_Bot_ Sure if you could connect south jersey to the airport it would be even more valuable . As it stands now there is just one rinky dink train bridge over the river into NJ and itโs about 9 miles in the wrong direction . Often there are delays crossing there too making it even slower
@_NotA_Bot_ The issue when leaving from Philly is it takes an insanely long time to get into NJ . The trip drags because you need to go all the way to Port Richmond before crossing over the river. a southern rail bridge would speed things up big time
@harrisonfinberg Hopefully the Queens project forces the stakeholders of the awful Philly stadium district to step their game up. About to be Mets , MLS , retail and a Casino all with 7 train service
@DPearsonPHL@JawadPullin Reddit is never ending series of I want to move to Philly or I am moving Philly , whatโs a good neighborhood to commute to Malvern , Exton , KOP ect ?
@harrisonfinberg I used to hang at 5th & Carpenter 25 years ago it was another world , what became Royal Tavern was an amazing mob bar that just had a few bottles behind bar and a fridge with beer , theyโd humor us and sell us 6 packs to go
Enjoying watching my friend ( a highly regarded designer ) take down the horrible rebrand of the Philadelphia Museum of Art . Sorry I wonโt be using your stupid new name ๐คทโโ๏ธ
The only good AI ๐ค will be the one that removes humans from behind the steering wheel . I trust a 1998 America Online trial CD more than the majority of drivers
Possibly the best part of โ hot โ yoga ๐ง is there are NO phones for 90 mins . I think my disdain for modern running culture is based around the never ending self-documentation
@coryfromphilly Thatโs simply because the people who are less well off financially are dealing with crime on their doorstep , the well off defund types are able to ignore many realities as they generally have much less direct contact with the impacts of crime
@bigseb31213 Additionally but on same wavelength, sprawl is a deterrent to gathering. Itโs meaningfully only really possible on college campuses & a handful of cities. Which is partially why some fear both place, theyโre โunpredictableโ. Many love the placidity of society created via sprawl.
