@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Chaps! Why isn’t there a strong Teal party forming in the U.K.? Surely this could upend the stagnancy in our politics!! Love the podcast! Andy
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Alastair, Rory - What everybody is desperate to know is … which book has had the most sales, “But what can I do?” Or “Politics on the edge”??? 😄
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Hi both. Love the podcast! My question is why can’t we change the system so politicians can express their *own* opinions rather than nearly always having to follow the party lines. The system really needs change. Politicians only become personable when they leave politics!
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Chaps. You didn’t really answer the LibDem question very well the other day. I think you seriously need to have a bit more of a discussion on the Lib Dems - whether they could potentially play kingmaker or perhaps even more or do you think are they lost? Thanks, Andytaff
@RestIsPolitics I’m wondering if the “stop the small boats” was a bargaining chip Sunak needed to fend off the right side of the party following the new N.I deal. They were very quiet after the Windsor agreement came out…?? What do you think chaps? #restispolitics
Event update 🚨
Due to high demand, Watergate Bay park and ride is now closed - please could all Launch Rockstars make their way to Tregunnel Hill car park, Newquay - we'll see you there 🚀🚀🚀
Thanks for your patience!
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Hi both. Strikes: Rather than paying government workers big salary raises (which hits inflation further) why not offer significant ‘gov. workers related perks’ for existing expenses - like paying for car parks, lunch meals and travel expenses?
@TheLastLeg Was going to say Hancock but I’m afraid it has to be Harry and Meghan for putting out a ridiculous self-pitying Netflix series that no-one is (or should be!!) interested in #DickoftheYear#thelastleg
@RestIsPolitics@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK Wonderful podcast @RoryStewartUK and @campbellclaret. It would be great of you could both discuss other potential political models that U.K. could consider, as the current (now rather ancient) democratic model seems to be failing. I’m personally in favour of fascist liberalism😆
