Took my first interview today. Here's what went wrong

🚩Candidate memorized top 50 React/Node Qs but lacked in depth explanation.
🚩Struggled with real-world challenges and solutions around his work.
🚩Didn’t think out loud when approaching.

Overall: Poor communication skills

Kidding but literally flex is more flexible than grid in terms of responsiveness and few other things.
While grid can help you better in terms of defined structure or layout

@Amandee24524309 The most common use cases are: prevent memory leaks, side effects stacking, unwanted behaviour etc.

Practical examples include cancelling data streams, removing event listeners, timeouts etc.

That's easy but where do we leverage this particular behaviour of useEffect?

The cleanup function runs before every re-render, using the old state

➤ Before re-render → cleanup runs (with old values)
➤ After re-render → effect runs (with new values)
