I’m always in awe of UNISA man. What it has done to open the doors to education and make accessible to ALL is unmatched. South Africa was truly ahead of its time. Top tier institution 👌🏾

This year marks 10 years since my #FeesMustFall arrest in my 3rd year. I will never forget the fees office official who told me that the university can't simply hand over my transcript to go apply at UNISA for the one credit I was left with to graduate while I still owed them...

Anele Tembe, 22, died after she ‘fell’ from the 10th-floor balcony of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on 11 April 2021.
At the time, she was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, who was in the hotel room with Nellie when the horrific incident occurred.
Former Police Minister Bheki Cele, who appeared before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday, told members that SAPS had completed their investigation and were convinced that Anele Tembe did not die by suicide, but was murdered.
One day, the truth will be told.
Rest in Power, Nellie. You'll always be remembered and loved.

Raising awareness about the GBVF disaster in South Africa, led by the Women for change organisation. Over 5k women were murdered last year, almost 68k girls were impregnated whilst in school, almost 2k of those girls are 10-14 years old… laws are weak, survivors aren’t supported
What those high school boys did not only amount to bullying, it is assault with intent to cause grievous body harm and a criminal case should be opened.
