Anele Tembe, 22, died after she ‘fell’ from the 10th-floor balcony of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on 11 April 2021.

At the time, she was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, who was in the hotel room with Nellie when the horrific incident occurred.

Former Police Minister Bheki Cele, who appeared before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday, told members that SAPS had completed their investigation and were convinced that Anele Tembe did not die by suicide, but was murdered.
