@ReginaDo@RecovAIRie Cannot find any other way to describe Irish media if not very POOR. Let's just go all abroad and safely back to travel. Sadly they have tried everything to scare population just to pretend to protect the island. Scandalous, while everything was happening with UK border open!!!
@DonnellyStephen Vaccine only protect against illness not the spread. Legislation is a non sense 'study case' at this point Ireland remain a HUGE outlier, lots of miscommunication and misleading opinions out there. Open up the country and make it European! #EuropeanCommission#EuropeanParliament
News Update; Thousands still protesting outside the #ConventionCentre in Dublin where the Government have passed legislation for the use of #VaccinePassports for in hospitality and possibly other indoor settings.
@rtenews People must go wherever they want, safe travel does not equal to holiday. We only need a negative test or recovery, not necessarily a vaccine. Ireland must just be European, and #rtenews should do its job properly, communication must be clear, free from toxic misleading opinions.
@deirdrebm @EU_Commission@roinnslainte End of July is seriously too late. Once again Ireland is demonstrating to be the outlier of Europe. Unjustified and unfair, bad image given and damage done to large community and economy.
Dear @PresidentIRL
Human rights at home & in the present are to be defended. If you enact emergency powers or MHQ, you donโt care about human rights.
1 day only post emergency renewal & the country looks like a totalitarian hell.
Does this look like public health? I say no!
"Call it as it is," Mattie McGrath has again compared Ireland to 'Nazi G... https://t.co/IU1LRCJ7h6 via @YouTube
We don't like that, but is Ireland doing well??? Extending the emergency legislation doesn't help the image that Ireland is showing.
@DublinAirport Appreciate your efforts in recovery the image of Ireland. Great message, gov regulations should have been focused on something else. Hope MHQ will be lifted soon. We need family reunion in a safe travel manner and we have the means to be able to. @RecovAIRie ๐ค
@SaturdayRTE@smytho The test is payed by tax. Is not free. We pay taxes and with the taxes we pay the State. Keep it simple. Irish government is far behind this virus battle. Here my doubts: BigPharma preferences? Why not antigen?
@rtenews There It is, probably where the forces should have been directed, check on public gatherings, northern border transit, home quarantine and not on the international travel with military deployed for the #mhq and the aviation industry destroyed. Gov got the wrong direction.
HERE IS THE PLAN TO GET US OUT OF THIS #COVID19 WAR
โขย NO lockdowns
โขย NO waiting for vaccines
โขย Reverses cases in weeks
A true public health approach focused on the ppl
To end the public health *WAR* we are in.
RAPID At-Home COVID Testing for All

@MichealLehane@BGriffinTD Again, discriminatory and no sense! Open up the country and face the virus. We are tired to play hide and seek, letting in variant from North border and UK and pretending to stop it with MHQ and things like indoor for vaccinated.
@dreynders still nothing is clear. The only thing that remain crystal clear to me is that MHQ is unfair. Is a detention with no trial. This must seriously be reviewed in Ireland and doesn't feel like Europe is doing enough.
Regarding hotel quarantine rules in ๐ฎ๐ช, the Commission is closely monitoring the situation. We requested & received information on the criteria on which such measures are based. We are now in discussions with ๐ฎ๐ช authorities to see how the lifting of measures can be facilitated.
