I have many a thought on the first mistborn book after finally finishing it. I can see why people love it, the concepts the world is built on are enough to excite any fantasy reader. The execution leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue is atrocious and quite cringeworthy.
Almost 2/3s of the way through The Final Empire, and Vin is getting progressively stupid as the book goes on, why?!
There's also far too much winking. I feel like Sanderson uses it to portray charisma, but it's so cringe.
