I have many a thought on the first mistborn book after finally finishing it. I can see why people love it, the concepts the world is built on are enough to excite any fantasy reader. The execution leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue is atrocious and quite cringeworthy.

Almost 2/3s of the way through The Final Empire, and Vin is getting progressively stupid as the book goes on, why?!

I just finished The Will of the Many. It was legitimately one of the best books I've read in a very long time. 5 fucking stars.

I need something light to recover from that. Once it really got good I was stressed until the end. It took a minute to get into the swing of it, so much so that I considered DNFing. So glad I pushed through!
