@EpsOrionis I am still very unfamiliar with local anesthetics and epidural block. However quickly looking up bupivacaine in a lexikon it metnions high toxicity and reactions such as nausea so it's a likely contributor.

@EpsOrionis Wowww! That is a lot of additional cost! 😬 Peopleare also commonly worried about the risk of malignant hyperthermia, which TIVA avoids, so would want it for that reason. But luckily it's incredibly rare. 1200USD is a high price to pay to have a better anesthesia recovery...
