RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai mentioned on Hungarian television last week that he “would love to work under Jürgen Klopp”, that he thinks “he is the best coach in the world”, and that he would be his “first choice” if he could choose a coach to work under.
Getting pretty fatigued by Liverpool twitter icl. Joined just before the pandemic hit. Started engaging more with it during the pandemic. Was funny at first but I honestly don’t know how any of you have stuck around any longer than 2+ years. It’s like a death loop.
I can’t tell if it’s the pandemic that’s been killing my enjoyment of the game or if it’s twitter. Probably a bit of both. Gonna take a break for a few weeks either way. Stay safe. Get vaccinated. Get your boosters. Stop endangering others.
@Studentoftheg1 Might have to make the pivot to tactico twitter tbh. The ESL breakaway period was funny but it kinda peaked. From that moment on it’s all been downhill lmao
@thenazt88 Isn’t great man. With the pandemic especially, a twitter detox can only be a good thing. That’s the way I’m looking at it, anyway. Get myself out of repetitive behaviour. Go back to supporting my club a normal amount again lmfao
Not particularly hopeful we address it in the market after last January window tbh. Had zero fit centre backs and we were still too slow to act - leaving it until deadline day.
We’re completely dependent on Thiago just to have a functioning midfield. That’s pretty much how our season has developed. So we always needed a midfielder coming into January anyway. To ease the burden on Thiago, and to guarantee some degree of functionality without him.
I don’t think anything has changed. If anything, the need is a little louder now. But over-dependence on any individual player (especially one who has struggled with injuries throughout his career) always carries a big risk.
