Isak's a done deal. LFC waiting for NUFC to sign forward(s) for optics. LFC exactly pleased with the delay but they did whatever they could to not piss Newcastle off more than they already are
Won't say anything else, will leave the nothing updates for the attention seekers ๐๐ฝ

@concavemeniscus Haha I got confused between the two Longstaffs and assumed there was one still at the club, you're right.
Joelinton pictured below at the game
Alexander Isak confirmed to not play any part in Newcastle's pre season friendly today
I'm sure they're just being precautionary after he's *only* had 2 months off and reported back to pre season at the same time as, checks notes, every single other Newcastle player
With Newcastle staying firm on their stance, Liverpool have not told them 'okay goodbye', they remain there in case Newcastle change their mind [@FabrizioRomano]
My take away is we're playing a very long waiting game, or else Ekitike would have been on a flight to England โณ๐ฎ
@concavemeniscus Livramento - played in U21 Euros
Hall - has only done individual training
Longstaff - travelled
Joelinton - travelled
Isak not pictured to have travelled at all

Indykaila with a bit of a nothing update tonight and he's someone we can tell you first hand does know what he's talking about when he likes to share information about the club
Looks like nobody really has a scooby where things stand at the moment ๐ง๐คทโโ๏ธ

If NUFCs stance was always he's not for sale, why did LFC take so long to "move on" to Ekitike?
Ekitike himself would be a very simple deal, yet in over 24 hours there's no development
and now Isak's been told he can go to Al Hilal?
Something smells fishy, and it's not my wife.

Being completely honest as always, I had no idea there was ever any interest in Rodrygo.
Perhaps someone in the board with a link to the reported intermediary has pushed it in the last 48 hours which would explain why Diaz's transfer is gathering pace.
Internal conversations inside Newcastle are not the same as what they are saying publicly. Does this mean Isak is guaranteed?
No. But I think Newcastle may just bite the bullet- the player wants the move.
@i_razvann Yeah, theyโre entirely separate deals. Rodrygo would be a 1 in 1 out situation with diaz. I canโt say I know too much but I know for certain weโve commissioned the super agent Pini Zahavi to make a deal on our behalf
There is ongoing dialogue between Newcastle and Liverpool- which is a step forward that has brought a sense of confidence within the #LFC hierarchy.
The first bid will be rejected by conversations will remain open. Keep an eye out on how Ekitike to Newcastle progresses today.
