Mainly carbon and H2O Technologist, Gamer, Programmer, Geek and Observationalist Oh and I do a bit of #gamedev !Fighting #Cancer and being a good #daddy too!
So I mention #cancer and #chemo a lot on here! It is valid for me as I have stage 4 stomach cancer which is incurable. I just want to make it clear that I’m NOT looking for sympathy or anything similar. I’m good with the card I’ve been dealt, I simply mention it for awareness &
@RetroResolution Sorry....bad bad couple of days/weeks. On downhill but slowly turning again. Not been on any screens as been too rough. Will try to do a tweet now and then as I can....thanks for checking my friend...hope that you’re doing ok
Look,Im not going to pay for @unity3d pro sub as Im a dying man (terminal cancer) but Id really look good turning up to treatment in some of those promotional clothings! It would help spread the #gamedev word as I regular get asked about whats on my clothing, for some reason!
Short #Cancer update: stent fitted. Very rough 2 weeks. Syringe pump installed with morphine and anti sickness. Other meds compensating. Daily nurses. Stuck in bed. Swollen legs. Feel really crap! But I’m alive! Big sis is here supporting! Getting symptoms under control too!
@PlayStationUK here’s looking at you too and I’ve been a customer since PS1 have PS5 and see the lovely stuff you send out to your staff! Eg blanket! Coats! Etc in your case I’m a PS Plus subscriber for many years too!
2021 update: this is especially important now during the pandemic, a lot more people working from home/in lockdown. It's easy to forget and stay many hours just sitting, which is not good.
Been coding for ~14 years, here are my top 5 programming tips

*your code is gonna be much better
@TommyVanSon Congratulations Tommy! This is. Wonderful update! I hope both little one and parents are well! Now the real adventure begins! Enjoy! It’s the most wonderful thing in the world!
I think timing my meds accurately has helped though. That said, presently a little rumbling in the stomach but that’s possibly the warm shower after eating a bowl of cornflakes...should fade soon! Then sleep!
Today has been a bit of a rollercoaster but overall an improvement on yesterday! I’ve eaten a whole kiddies ready meal! 3 bowls of cornflakes, 1/2 a tin of Heinz ravioli and drank reasonably well! Stomach has been a lot better (not perfect) and not felt too rough at all! #cancer
If you have #cancer, taking morphine and have lost lots of weight, I highly recommend a long, warm, moderate power shower! Man I feel so much better after that! Aches eased, skin invigorated, mind at ease! Don’t forget to moisturise after though!
@JanDavidHassel Originally To Connect with #gamedev people and read about other subject matters I have interests in. Mainly to share my experience of #cancer lately though.
My mother dated Roger Clark before she met my father (as a teen) and many years later I had my Subaru’s Impreza tuned by Roger Clarks Son at his workshop in Leicestershire! I would and still would love a mk1 like that though!
