@megbasham We didnโt emphasize dating very much. We focused on friendships and finding significance in God rather than another person. Our three adult kids waited until college to pursue serious relationships.
My friend and business partner, Tricia Goyer, and I create online courses for homeschool students (public and private school students are welcomed, too) at https://t.co/V7MurSU3c6
I love your idea. Iโve thought of creating a โCottage Skillsโ course that teaches skills such as bread baking, sewing, jam making, menu planning, etc. What specific topics do you think would be great to add to the course or would be great as an entire course?
@joelwellsmd You should try roasting peanuts. Super yummy and amazing peanut butter when ground. 99 Ranch Market and Mitsuwa in Plano sell raw peanuts in 2 1/2 and 5 pound bags.
The use of AI to complete college course assignments, especially doctoral level courses, is dissolving critical thinking skills. It also lacks forward progress in innovation because people are regurgitating whatโs already known. Itโs good to get basic ideas, but bad if those basic ideas arenโt expanded upon with proper research.
Iโm an online professor at two universities. I spend more time policing ethical research and writing behavior at the doctorate level than I do teaching. I also spend more time teaching how to research and write than I do teaching the concepts doc students need to learn. Very frustrating and demotivating.
My calendar is my to-do list. I schedule each task as an appointment. I do the same when writing a book-each chapter is an appointment.
Does anyone else do this?
