@kelly_ques 5😭caught me mum and dad put a toy piano in my room..saying that id still knock on my brothers bedroom door at 3am, at 15yrs of age, and proudly announce hes been 🤣🤣🤣
@VikingJohn2@dave43law Up there then physically moved there, I can get why he says it...maybe he should have said first educated in Haydock, then in ashton..I personally say I was born in skem educated in Haydock then came back to skem. He feels more affiliated towards the area, and I understand why
@VikingJohn2@dave43law Well he was born in Billinge, which comes under that constituency, and like iv tried to explain many people on that side of haydock would class themselves more makerfield, because of the old borders, and his extended family are all from there, and he more than likely socialised
@VikingJohn2@dave43law It's not a lie, its local history and culture. The 1974 border changes left a lot of remanants behind that people in haydock still deal with and feel connected to today. You dont have to be born in the 70s to understand how the villages identity works.
@ronsterd89 I got 10p a wk..I used 2p a day at dinner time at school. My dinner ticket was worth 52p and my chips sausage do-nut and a glass of pop came to 54p 🤣 apart from that got feck all🤭
@VikingJohn2@dave43law We were right on the line, grange valley classed as st.helens, his school classed as Ashton in makerfield..the junction of change happened at the end of clipsley lane and the start of church road.
@AndyBlakey_@lancelachlan He went to English martyrs which is in Haydock.. alot of people dont know that haydo k is split into 2 areas..one half is 01744 dialing code(St.Helens) the other 01942(wigan)
