@lijitimate Sometimes you WANT to be "just another person", even if it's for a little while, with no demands and no expectations except the ones you're creating for yourself because you know they make you a better, more balanced human.

Dr. Wright reminds us that while innovating we will encounter some friction. However, look at it from a different perspective and find another way to innovate!
What should countries prioritize: Investments in education, climate, health or agriculture?
Try the @WorldBank Development Quest and share your experience.
Which path did you choose? (Education for me, of course!)

Showing appreciation for our teachers can be relatively easy. Here are a few ideas to show them that we are grateful for all they do.🤗
What are some other ways we can show you, our teachers, we appreciate you?
One of our teacher teams is exploring ways to do just that!
What do you think? What are your suggestions for assisting teachers who may find it challenging to use technology as part of their practice?

What Dr. Albert Szent-Györgyi said!
But really, innovation isn't just about coming up with ideas; it's about seeing an issue (and it's solution) from the multiple perspectives of its beneficiaries.
That requires thinking outside the box!😆

Culture is an inseparable aspect of the human experience. As Saint Lucia observes Creole Heritage Month, how do we respect the local culture as we innovate?🤔
Tell us in the comments; we really want to know!
On October 11, 2022, the SEIL hosted a session for principals around the island, at the Curriculum and Materials Development Unit (CAMDU).
The SEIL thanks each and every one of these principals for demonstrating their interest in and support for teacher-led innovation.🤩
We see all the effort you put into your job, teachers, and we encourage you to keep up the good work.
We appreciate you. Happy Teachers' Appreciation Week!🥳🎊
From the Saint Lucia Education Innovation Lab to you.

Using culturally relevant resources is beneficial as it has an impact on students. However, in Saint Lucia, finding these resources can be difficult. That is why a teacher team is working on creating a place where teachers can easily access them.

What an eventful day it was! The teachers got an opportunity to meet and work with the Innovation Coach and got a chance to work with other teachers like themselves.
In the end, the Innovation Lab would like to say a big THANK YOU🙌🏽 to all those who made the day a success.
The five stages of an Innovation Cycle are: 1) identifying the need, 2) exploring the need/opportunity, 3) ideation, 4) prototyping and 5) the discussion.
Each stage is important as it is an opportunity to clarify understanding and collect important data for the best solution!
Our registrants will join the first ever Innovation Sprint on Tuesday July 12th 2022. It will be a time of socializing, innovating and practicing the use of empathy.
