Explore the historic #AngelIsland Immigration Station in a 3D immersive tour. Guided by Park staff, read century-old poetry that immigrants carved on the walls. This tour was created in collaboration with @AngelIslandSP, @ai_immigration, @CyArk with support from @IronMountain

Boats on moorings must tie up to 2 red or 2 yellow mooring buoys (fore & aft), facing north. No rafting/side by side tie ups at this time. Anchoring in Ayala Cove is not permitted. 2/3
Due to Marin County’s shelter in place order, Angel Island SP moorings are closed to boat camping until further notice. The moorings will temporarily be available for day use instead. Park hours 8am-Sunset. Boaters must come ashore & pay day use fees prior to tying up. 1/3

@Primal_Digest@AWE365 Oops, that first pic is off trail! There are 13 miles of trails and roads on #AngelIsland 9 miles open to bikes. Perimeter Road, paved-5 miles, & Fire Road, dirt-4 miles (plus 1.5-2 mile ride on Perimeter Road to access). Thanks for sharing the biking resources on the island!
Fun Fact: Angel Island is a land-bridge island, meaning that it was connected to the mainland during the last ice age. It became an island approximately 12,000 years ago when sea level rose due to natural climate change.
