Today marks 5 years since you've left this earth, Angel and every year I always am surprised that time continues to pass.

Alright I made y'all wait long enough, but something I loved the most about Angel was how selfish he genuinely was. Friends will often hear me say he was a much better man than I will ever be, but I'm happy that he taught me and gave me the strength to be kinder to others,

And also,
Take the time to tell someone you care about how much they mean to you, be it friend, spouse, family, etc. Someone.
Cherish the time you have, appreciate the small things.

Something I had wanted to share yesterday but ended up forgetting to share here as well.

I spent most of the day relaxing and just trying to exist without thinking too hard on what I should be doing with an anniversary.

Sometimes I wonder about this small list of ideas Angel had and one singular one has been burned into the deep recesses of my mind. It's literally

we each fell in love with various character designs, his favorite at the time was Mym and mine was Verica.

I remember being happy hearing how much he enjoyed drawing Mym, it was very cute 💕

He wouldn't get the chance to see her playable form.

Sometimes I think back on when Dragalia Lost had first come out and I was super excited to play, and shortly thereafter Angel gave it a go and ended up enjoying it too!
We would play missions together and talk about where we thought the story would go next a bunch. And naturally,

Primrose and Cyrus were supposed to be the next duo cosplay Angel and I did but we would never see that day unfortunately. However, because it meant that much to me, I did a Scholar job Primrose back in 2019.

He never played it, but he happily listened to me talk about the game.

For today I wanted to share this Primrose Angel drew as a warmup. He had been listening to my excitement while I played through the first Octopath and on one of his not so bad days in the hospital, he drew her :3

I would later, after all was said and done, start writing a post-endgame Octopath story called "Letters" focused on Primrose and giving her a story of healing. in one of the chapters I used this image to help me visualize an outfit I wanted to describe for her.

Hey. Its Mer here once more. I figured with the new site rule in place, I wanted to try to be more proactive to avoid, yknow, seeing angel's life work getting erased.
