Labour on digital ID's this morning: "We're going to make sure everyone gets one".
Says you'll never be able to work again without one.
Who the f*ck do they think they are?!
@Fatima_Khatun01 Such incidents are truly shocking and heartbreaking. Religious sites, which should be symbols of peace and faith, have been violently destroyed.🥺
@anna155_anna It was a truly unique encounter. Most people would just look down on the gum on the ground, but he was able to create art and meaning out of it.
I ran into a strange man on the street.
A strange man, drawing on the ground.
He said he'd been lying there since 11 a.m. and had been lying there for five hours. It had rained heavily during the session, and he was wearing a hooded raincoat with an umbrella beside him.
He said he wasn't drawing for the money, but it was enough to make a living.
He said he could only draw on chewing gum because drawing directly on floor tiles was illegal, and there were always people trying to steal them, which would vandalize the city.
He said he'd been arrested by the police and taken to court. After all, proving there was chewing gum underneath his drawings was difficult.
He said people always wanted business advice and paid him to do this or that. But he knew all that money came at a price, so he'd let them all piss off.
He then laughed out loud.
I squatted on the ground, watching him draw and chatting with him for fifteen minutes. As I stood up to say goodbye, I suddenly realized my feet were covered in chewing gum. So many people come and go every day, yet he's the only one with his head down, diligently smearing gum on random pieces of gum. Suddenly, his life seems so romantic.
He said, "I just want to make something good out of this." ❤️#StreetPainting #LondonArtists
When you go out somewhere nice and you find a 10/10 that turns out to make you almost choke on your drink *spots water on my skirt* 🤣😭🍾🥂✨ (skirt @zara ) Miss this night ✨✨
@RepMTG The property tax is indeed like forced "renting," seriously undermining true property rights. The medical system has become a huge burden on ordinary people.
