Teachers plates are still overflowing. They still have at least five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to take care of their family too. They need grace & support now more than ever.

If a district really wants to increase students achievement, you don’t need a new curriculum, new tech or more testing. You need to support, encourage & appreciate your teachers. When they feel valued & talents are used they are most effective & achievement influenced most.

The principal's job is NOT to put students first. To do so is to micromanage and negate the authority of Teachers. The principals job is Putting Teachers First, knowing that in so doing, Teachers will always put students first.
