Agreed @poc_doctor Reviews should be done to the highest standards. Yet journals rely on volunteers to do it. If reviewers were paid, and the process was standardised a more thorough review could be could mandated.
This study suggests that more scrutiny is required by reviewers and editors. However, these are generally voluntary roles that are not remunerated or generally really recognised. Perhaps the process of scientific review needs to be reconsidered?

@niallotuathail@galwayad I totally agree with this. Why are we spending billions on a new road when making public transport free would she the traffic problems?. school kids would actually use the busses if they were affordable. That would solve much of the congestion. We don't need the big bypass!
