October is National School Principal’s Month, and we are proud to honor the outstanding leaders at Hacienda La Puente Unified who consistently go above and beyond in service to their students, staff, and school communities.
Our principals are deeply committed to creating safe, nurturing, and innovative learning environments. Beyond their dedication to academic excellence, they bring creativity and fun to their schools—whether it’s dressing up, leading exciting events, or finding unique ways to keep students engaged and excited about coming to school.
Join us in celebrating their incredible work and spirit by dropping a comment with a shout-out to your school principal! Let’s show our appreciation for everything they do to make our schools exceptional places to learn and grow.
Happy World Teachers’ Day! At HLPUSD, we’re honored to celebrate our amazing teachers who bring learning to life every day. Happy National Custodian Day! Today, we recognize and celebrate the vital contributions of our custodians. Their work extends far beyond keeping our campuses clean; they are the heart of our school communities, ensuring our environments are safe, welcoming, and supportive places for learning and growth.
We sincerely appreciate their dedication, hard work, and the care they show each day. To our custodians, thank you for your invaluable role in making our schools a better place for all.
Congratulations to our 2023-24 Administrator of the Year, Ann Hanson!
With 25 years of dedicated service to Hacienda La Puente Unified, Hanson has been a cornerstone of our district’s success. From 15 years as an English teacher at Wilson, seven years as Assistant Principal at Workman High School, two years leading Sierra Vista, to proudly serving as Principal at Newton Middle School, Hanson’s commitment to our students and staff is unmatched.
We are incredibly grateful for her leadership, passion, and the positive impact she continues to make in our community. Thank you, Principal Hanson, for all you do! 👏
