Local cultures can enrich the way that journalists tell stories, but they can also create challenges. While in #Fiji, #QUT student Matilda Yates reported on cultural elements that enhance depth & context of reports but create challenges in dealing with leaders & gender norms.
Leading @QUT's Reporting Fiji study tour for journalism students was a great experience. Students helped local NGOs build their media & communications resources, while learning so much about local journalism & contexts, as highlighted in this story by Brooklyn Self. #QUTrealworld
@Court1066408@Bowenchris NZ, Austria, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Norway & Serbia don't generate nuclear power to my knowledge (although there may be tiny amounts of nuclear power in energy that some import). To claim no countries exclude nuclear *generation* from the mix is misleading @adipaterson
@BonniedaWestie@Number10cat@Keir_Starmer It's very important to maintain a good relationship while negotiating the meal arrangements. After the arrangements have been finalised, Larry can go back to saying what he likes.

@stationmum101 So impressive that one cat can check out a vehicle with such high horse-power. Despite being clever at checking heavy vehicles, I doubt that cat can drive one. I imagine it drives something smaller and high-class, such as a Furr-ari.
@stationmum101 Your new friend's name has an underscore so maybe he/she goes by the name of _Elon Mousk or _ Elon Mousk. One of Elon Musk's children is called X Æ A-12, or X for short, so maybe it could become fahionable to have an underscore as a first name, especially if you're a bot.
@lobna@RobertMackey Rainbows have been used a symbol of peace since the story of the flood and Noah's ark. I believe that Christians, Jews and Muslims all have variations of this story. Perhaps the flag is a different type of protest to what you are thinking of.
@stationmum101 You offer a fresh, feisty content, giving a female perspective on topics in which the discussion is often male-dominated and to open new topics for consideration
@snoozen I've seen the Brisbane performance (twice!) & recommend this to all my Melbourne friends. It's a hilarious, poignant, eye-opening and unique perspective of what it's like to grow up with autism, but the themes of difference, inclusion & seeking love are relevant to everyone.
@stationmum101 Noone should ever be doxed. Anyone who is doxed should take action immediately. Details on what to do are about halfway down this page: https://t.co/jmHZgpU0NZ Activists acting in good faith are welcome to their campaigns, but doxing should never be a campaign strategy.
@walkleys@QUT@UNSW@Anita_Jacoby@Channel9@9NewsAUS@AFTRS I'm so happy to see QUT's Tatenda Chikwakukire receiving this wonderful opportunity, particularly given the very high standards of entries that led to two awards being granted in 2023
