They took carrageenan out of their chocolate milk thanks to grassroots feedback
We can change our food system for the better by making our voices heard
Small steps lead to big changes
American foods are cleverly changing their names because they no longer qualify as that legal food.
- Pringles used to be potato chips, now they’re labeled as “potato crisps” per FDA rules
- McDonald’s Shakes are now called “shakes” (not legally milkshakes in some states)
- Klondike Bar is no longer a chocolate shell, it’s a Chocolatey shell (not real chocolate)
- Dairy Queen: All items are “treats” (no “ice cream” on the menu)
- Oreo changed the spelling to “creme” (alternative spelling, not real cream)
- Tyson changed spelling to “Wyngz” (It’s a processed chicken labeling trick)
- Costco Blueberry Bagels labels as Imitation blueberry bagels (no actual blueberries)
- Pearl Milling Company Syrup (formerly Aunt Jemima) Now ‘Original syrup’ not maple syrup. The first ingredients is corn syrup.
Our food is a science experiment.
Make America Healthy Again.
Been saying for years. Public companies have fiduciary duty to make most money legally. Not illegal to sell fake avocado oil so they do. Primal Kitchen bought by Kraft and Siete bought by Pepsico. Both tested 100% fake avocado oil
There's a conversation in the Bible where Satan admits there are some people he can't touch... and almost nobody talks about it.
Most people read the book of Job and focus on everything he lost. But I was reading Job 1, and God showed me something that completely shifted my perspective. Before Job's wealth, before the attacks, before the tragedy... God first described Job's character. The Bible says Job was "blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil." That wasn't just an introduction it was Heaven's testimony about him before anything else happened.
Then the scene changes from earth to heaven. The angels present themselves before the Lord, and Satan shows up. God asks him, "Where have you come from?" Satan replies that he has been roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth. In other words, he was searching. Then God asks Satan one question: "Have you considered my servant Job?" What Satan says next stopped me in my tracks. Satan replies, "Have You not put a hedge around him, his household, and everything he has?" Think about that. The enemy himself acknowledged that there was a boundary around Job that he could not cross without God's permission.
What qualified Job for that kind of covering? It wasn't his money. It wasn't his influence. It wasn't his success. The Bible says he was blameless, upright, feared God, and shunned evil. Before Heaven celebrated his blessings, Heaven testified about his character.
I wonder how many of us spend more time praying for God's protection than pursuing the kind of life that attracts His covering. Job reminds us that reverence for God, integrity, and obedience matter. Character isn't just about reputation it has spiritual consequences.
In New Orleans I could not sleep. The city was still awake at two in the morning. I refused to be the first to quit.
I found a place called Cafe du Monde.
Three items on the menu. Beignets. Cafe au lait. Orange juice. Three items since 1862.
I bowed to the menu.
Jerome brought three beignets without asking. Golden squares buried under a mountain of powdered sugar. The dough underneath was a rumor.
I picked one up like a civilized man.
The sugar detonated.
My shirt. My hands. The table. A woman to my left minding her own business at two in the morning. She did not flinch. She was already white.
The man next to her was white. The chair behind her was white. The whole cafe was a joyful crime scene and nobody was investigating.
I tried to brush the sugar off my shirt. It got worse. I tried harder. Worse still. Jerome watched me the way a zookeeper watches a new animal figure out the enclosure.
"Does the sugar always do this."
"Every time."
"Has no one in a hundred and sixty years considered reducing—"
"That IS the amount."
I gave up. I ate the second beignet with no precautions. Sugar went into my hair. A man across the room raised his coffee cup at me. I had joined something.
The cafe au lait was bitter with chicory and rude about it. Jazz from somewhere I could not see. An old couple sharing one plate, both white as ghosts, laughing.
In my country, beauty is controlled. A garden trimmed. A tea poured without a drop.
In New Orleans, beauty lands on your suit and does not apologize.
I sat in the sugar until sunrise. I did not brush off a single grain.
A peace deal has been declared at the highest levels of the U.S., Iranian and Pakistani governments and the signing ceremony is set for June 19th, the exact day when Chiron enters Taurus!
I've written on and off for months about Chiron in Taurus being a global economic healing influence and look what is aligning perfectly to the start of this transit: peace in the Middle East!
Thank God for this development, the timing is a dramatic proof of astrology, this time specific to Chiron. If you have yet to subscribe to my monthly horoscopes you are missing a great deal of wisdom.
Great times ahead,

The Great American Cotton Plan is about one thing: Putting American cotton first again.
Real “_____” wear cotton. 👖🌱
Americans. Cowboys. Farmers. Families. MAHA. Because cotton is real, natural, American-grown, and made by U.S. farmers.
Here’s the plan 👇
✅ Promote natural American-grown fibers over synthetic, plastic-based materials
✅ Expand domestic cotton manufacturing and textile production
✅ Increase export opportunities for U.S. cotton producers
✅ Strengthen support for cotton mills and processors
✅ Protect cotton growers from market volatility and adverse risk
✅ Modernize facilities and expand production capacity
✅ Support long-term profitability for America’s cotton farmers
This is about rebuilding an industry that supports jobs, rural communities, American manufacturing, and our agricultural future.
Plant, not plastic.
"Ground beef patties" — zero fillers, by law.
"Beef patties" — drop one word, suddenly TVP, organ meat, and added water are all legal.
USDA regulation 9 CFR 319.15. The gap between what the front says and what the back lists is not a quality problem. It's a business model.
We're giving away a few pounds of real ground beef to first-time buyers while supplies last. Sign up at https://t.co/K9A3PMAwf6 and call/text 208-714-0478.
