A great start to the week☺️ I’m so excited about our new paper in press at Psychological Medicine, which tested whether Body Project groups led by peer educators prevented onset of *specific types* of eating disorders in young women over 4-year follow-up! Preprint coming soon!
So grateful for the mentorship and contribution from my coauthors @usama_bilal@Alinasmahl@PricilaPhd@mariana_mlazo @adiezroux on this project! Also want to shoutout my sister @Laura_DAdamo for encouraging me to venture into epi research for the first time!
So thrilled to share my first published manuscript! We conducted a scoping review of health disparities in the past four influenza pandemics and found evidence of spatial, racial/ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities worldwide. Here’s the preprint: https://t.co/EYN6KKhNEU

Honors thesis: defended ✅
Thank you to my family and friends for their support! I spent my senior year @RutgersU working on a project looking at spatial inequities in COVID-19 vaccination rates with my mentor @usama_bilal. So grateful for this experience!
Watching @Angela_DAdamo present her honors project on spatial inequities in COVID-19 vaccination at the @blousteinschool Honors Research Program poster session! Such an impressive and important project 👏🎉 @RutgersU
So excited to say that I will be attending the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for my Master of Health Science degree in Epidemiology in the fall! Thankful to my family, friends, and mentors for all of their guidance and support.
UPDATE: #COVID19 cases are increasing in NYC. We’re currently seeing the highest case rate among 25- to 34-year-olds. We strongly recommend that New Yorkers get boosted and wear masks in all public indoor settings, even if you are fully vaccinated: https://t.co/2Oaucmz7c2
