@ATorturedPast - jumped out to thank him.
"Seriously, thanks. I would be totally lost without my heap of junk." A smile graced her lips as she walked back towards the man.
"I owe you."

New to town, Tyra hadn't had the chance to investigate her new town, say hello to the neighbors, she hadn't even used her truck in week; and there lay her issue. Her truck wouldn't start.
She had tried everything, and resorted in the end --
@ATorturedPast Tyra spared no time following the man and jumping in her truck, "the battery was dying before I parked up." She sent a laugh to the man shaking her head before trying once more, the engine spluttering before roaring to life.
"Bingo! Thanks!" Tyra left the car running as she -
@OfWorthyOfPride "I've met a few veterans, not people actively serving." She offered a smile to the man. "Yes, there's pie." She laughed slightly as the parked up. It looked quiet for a change.
@RedKnightOfHell "Much better? And wha-" Tyra stopped speaking as she saw Abbadon pull out champagne. "Oh, that type of good stuf huh?" Tyra smirked slightly.

Rain had drenched her, the night relentless with thunderstorms that shown no signs of letting up anytime soon.
Tyra's motel room was all but 2 minutes away, but the bar was a lot closer. Darting through the double doors to escape the weather, she -

-
@RedKnightOfHell Tyra willfully got to the seat, and waited for the demon to get in. "So, you're little limo, is this taking us to the first spot? Am I gonna need my gear?"
@RedKnightOfHell "Amen to that." Tyra nodded, the calming wave taking over her. "Wait, can I even say that?" Tyra felt her sneaky remarks coming back and started feeling a sense of normality, beneath the chaos purging through her veins. She let go of the demons hand, willingly walking towards -
@OfWorthyOfPride "Not one for hanging out with the other soldiers?" Tyra quizzed curiously as she looked back at him curiously, her eyes looking from the open road back to the man. The car was comfy, she couldn't deny it.
She shuffled, getting comfy in her seat. She pointed to the tape -
@OfWorthyOfPride "Oh? Kinda." She played it off.
"A show?" Tyra looked at the man and shook her head. "Oh no, there's a nice cafe there I fancied I'd get a drink from."
