On and on it goes.

Everyone hating someone.
Everyone pointing fingers at flesh and blood.
Everyone blinded, lashing out at each other.

But almost no one hates the real enemy.
Almost no one directs their hate at the one who deserves it.
The one pulling the strings.
The one behind the curtain.
The one laughing while we fight.

It is Satan.
He is the source of every lie.
Every division.
Every crime.
Every illness.
Every disease.
Every prejudice.
Every murder.
Every broken family.
Every bitter word.
Every secret grudge.

We fight each other while he laughs.
We tear each other down
And contribute to racist posts on X while he watches from the shadows.
We burn with anger at one another,
while the one who fuels the fire goes untouched.

But the Bible says, “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

So why do we waste our hate on each other?
Why do we stab at brothers and sisters made in God’s image,
while the real enemy hides in plain sight?

It’s time to turn our eyes and see.
It’s time to stop hating, pray for one another
and start hating the one who is destroying us all.

Hate sin.
Hate Satan.
But love the people Christ died for.
Every color. Every nation. Every background. Every soul. That is who a true Christian is. Christ hated no one, even His accusers.

Because Jesus shed His blood for them and us all.
And the cross is proof that love, not hate, wins.

The Bible says God’s will for our lives is sanctification. That means becoming more like Him and living a life that honors Him (1 Thessalonians 4:3).

So how do we actually grow in sanctification?

First, we give our hearts to Jesus every day. Real change starts by surrendering to Him. Without Jesus, we cannot grow spiritually (John 15:5).

Second, we spend time in God's Word. Jesus said, "Make them holy by Your truth. Your Word is truth" (John 17:17). Reading the Bible and living by it changes how we think and live.

Third, we let the Holy Spirit work in us. The Holy Spirit helps us see what needs to change and shapes our character to be more like Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

Fourth, we obey what God says. Sanctification is not something we just sit around waiting for. As we obey, God works in us to grow us (Philippians 2:12 to 13).

Fifth, we commit to walking away from sin. We cannot hold on to things that dishonor God. He tells us to turn away from anything that corrupts our lives (2 Corinthians 6:17 to 18). And even if we slip and fall, we get back up again, and like the Prodigal Son, we return to the Father.

The Bible makes our purpose clear:

"Fear God and keep His commandments. This is the whole duty of man"
Ecclesiastes 12:13.

To fear God means to respect Him, honor Him, and take Him seriously.
To keep His commandments means to live by His Word.

This is what we were created for. Sanctification is not instant. It is a daily walk with God where He changes us from the inside out.
