Not all accidents are someone else's fault, a judge said today after dismissing a claim for damages arising from a school sports day in Co Longford https://t.co/mG1uofnPIF
@EllenKampinga@PEEI_TU4D@TUDublin_SchBus Indeed, so good to see each other's work in this interesting way. Something that had a lot of impact is having the priviledge to learn from adolescents about authenticity and witness their big interest in understanding their emotions and the emotions of others. Thank you, Ellen!

@TaraHolland17@GRS_TUDublin@WeAreTUDublin Such an interesting research & poster! Tara, on the conceptual model, I was wondering if the perceptions smaller farmers have regarding the value of their knowledge may affect KS motivations? And whats your vision for the future of KS and small farmers? Many congratulations!
On my 'Smart Hearts Lab' last week with junior cycle students, talking about the term 'teenager' and its connotations: 'We really care about our friends, adults seem to forget them sometimes.' Adult reminder: friendships greatly contribute to overall wellbeing and happiness.
After a successful pilot, I began today the recruitment of young participants for my program 'Smart Hearts Lab', a social and emotional learning course aiming to support junior cycle students in emotion management👍🏼
Residents got one of these for all the kids in the street. Aside from nostalgia, got me thinking: These kids still play outside, and they are reclaiming their share of public space after a pandemic. The street belongs to everyone, including kids. #letthemplayoutside
It’s been an extremely challenging school year but this week second-level students are speaking out about issues that are important to them and sharing their ideas for change. The ‘YSI Speak Out Virtual Tour’ highlights social innovation projects from schools all over Ireland 💡
I feel so bad for the 54,000 people who flew into Ireland in Christmas week.
They would only have come out of self isolation last week.
They will have missed Christmas and New Year’s Eve while staying, alone, in their bedrooms.
54,000 people.
@NellForan @donalhunt @Astraea1974 You pay 3 or 4 times that every year to be a registered psychologist with the PSI in Ireland. They don't give you any tangible return as far as I am aware. You are left with bills if you want to work, in a place with a shortage of healthcare professionals
