@YoungChrisYS@Domthgreat It’s a response to Drake’s “I use to wanna be on Roc-a-fella then I turned into Jay” line on Summer Sixteen. This is when Drake started comparing himself to HOV & people ain’t like that
Besides Sean’s 2nd album being titled Hall of Fame, I’m not sure how that line is for Sean
Media outlets have been pushing the “I like Drake with the melodies, I don’t like Drake when he acts tough” narrative.
Positive reviews for Maid of Honour and Habibti but Iceman (the album where he is cooking the entire industry) gets negative reviews
@shiderboy Rocawear was “everywhere” because it was made to be. Affordable and accessible to the masses. OVO is considered high end streetwear. More expensive. Still profitable enough to have 12 stores around the world tho.

Drake sabotage timeline is getting clearer:
1. UMG gets word Drake might go independent, and wants to ruin it
2. They put Kendrick’s verse on Like That without approval or Future knowing (according to interview w/Future)
3. Forces rap battle
4. Cole shoots at Kendrick first but mysteriously backs out
5. Kendrick signs a special contract with UMG then drops Euphoria right after
6. Family Matters drops with real tea
7. Kendrick’s drops NLU and UMG allows creators to push song for 30 days without copyright
8. UMG allows cover art of Drake’s house
9. NLU get botted worldwide including being added to playlists like Japanese Jazz
10. All hiphop media declares Kendrick winner at the same time
11. Kendrick gets Super Bowl by Jay-Z after only releasing diss songs which allows Kendrick to perform twice in a couple years at the Super Bowl
