“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21
We hold our plans loosely because we know that His are so much better.
How have you seen that to be true in your life lately?
You can do this. This too shall pass. But don’t just get through this. Find the beauty. Bring it inside.
And say, “I’m so much stronger than I dreamed possible. And when I’m not, God still is. Thank you, God. Help me, God. Show me, God.”
He loves you. He’s got you. He knows…

God will accomplish good even when life doesn’t feel good or look good. How do I know this for certain? Because God brings good with Him to every nook and cranny of this very broken world we live in.
Where God is, good is being worked. We don’t have to see it. But we CAN choose to believe it because we believe in God and His goodness!
It’s not kind to let someone live below the standard.
It’s not kind to let someone make excuses.
It’s not kind to let someone separately fail when you can help them.
Being a kind leader is speaking the hard truth and holding people accountable.
Heartbreak will not break the best parts of you.
Fight for your healing with everything you’ve got. Stay close to Jesus and the people who truly love Him. And one day you’ll be surprised by how much the Lord helped you all along the way.
Most people are so focused on those who aren’t in their corner that they ignore the people who are in their corner. The result is that they’re never happy and eventually burn out those who are supporting them.
Focus on what matters.
Focus on who matters.
Gratitude is the key.
There's no sin in our lives that Jesus doesn't have the power to defeat. And I'm so thankful.
Lift up your struggle to Him. Ask for His strength and determine to take steps in the right direction with His help.
Father God, help us consider where glimpses of joy might be in our lives. And keep reminding us in the midst of anything that feels hard that Your plans for us are still good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do.
God does some of His best work in the unseen.
No one likes to feel pain. But if we avoid the hurt, the hurt creates a void in us.
So instead of trying to numb the pain, let’s invite God into it. Let's ask Him to replace our faltering strength with His. And then let's choose to believe that, with Him, healing is possible.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121: 1-2
In the midst of everything that shakes us and breaks us, we have a place to look. We have a Savior to look to.
