@teachcrap @almostheavennn Don't work past contract hours....just don't. Get kids on a schedule/routine and in bed early. Automate pet care when possible. Meal prep so cooking is limited. Online grocery/Walmart so all you do is pickup. Batch appointments when possible and knock them out.
@MarkArum Bring food from home, keep snacks in the car, cook and eat at home. Restaurants in general are crap. Save stress and money
Plan ahead and eat your own food.
@kasal_finley College is not necessary for a well paying career. Encourage alternative education programs and different routes to careers. Joining the military is also a fantastic option for education. College is not necessary particularly if it puts one in debt.
@alicekeeler My friend teaches at a school in Louisiana and the teachers got together and organized a massive call out sick situation the Friday before spring break and school was canceled for lack of staff and everyone got the extra day. Pretty clever.
@finigoodman@krassenstein The length of daylight changes seasonally...period. Time change or not. Stick to DST and everyone gets used to it. Leave the time alone.
@heymrsbond Mom's on call routine and follow it exactly every day. Never make exceptions. It works amazing. Two kids, one and almost 4, in bed by 7 pm each night and they don't leave their room (they share) until 7 am. I have time each night fro 7-10 to do my life. Weekends too.
@KellerVjlk@johnrich I've not had covid or any sickness during this time. I've flown, gone out to concerts, lived life. Didn't mask unless forced to enter a place. I'm 52, husband 63. Healthy people; no covid or other sickness.
