Sorry to say this. @MMA_Maldives LIED and said tourism stakeholders did not provide alternative solutions. Actually they did. 13 Oct MATI sent a letter to the President & MMA proposing:

Now, the 'Fashaa Madhadhu' loan scheme by @SDFC_mv - supposedly designed to empower women. It's been 5 months, and not a single applicant has received a loan. We’re left in the dark with no idea when, or even if, this will actually happen.

@MMuizzu Female empowerment and development projects seem to be all PR with little substance. First the Hiyala Market, we were excited to rent stalls at 450 Rf per weekend. But within months, the price shot up to 8000 Rf monthly, which small, home-based businesses can’t afford.
