Couldn’t attend this time, but if anyone comes across interesting discussions on AI for Indian/regional languages, education, governance, or grassroots innovation. Please let us know.
Would love to collaborate and build something for Bihar

Congratulations to Angika Speakers!

In this work, we onboard my mother tongue Angika with the first MT training & evaluation dataset, and show that SrcMix (source-language mixing) significantly improves extremely low-resource MT, while naïve mixing performs worst in such settings due to negative transfer.
🚨 Seeing FineWeb2 and OmniASR claim to include Angika data(anp_Deva) — but all of it is clearly Hindi, not even correct auxiliary verbs!
Just because a crawler predicts “85% Angika” doesn’t make it true.
