N. AZ - Coconino County's elections director just called me.
They are seeing some pretty widespread confusion among voters who have been told they can vote a federal-only ballot in-person in Coconino, even when they are registered in a different county.
That's not true.
Happy Election Day to my friends and counterparts around the county! These fine folks have been on the clock since 4am, and will continue to work 24-36 hours. If you see an election official today, please thank them. To my election heroes - lets make some magic happen!!
Whatever happens this week, don’t be a jerk to your local poll workers and election officials. They have put their personal lives on hold to work insanely long hours to ensure YOUR voice is heard through ballot box.
Be kind. Let your voice be heard & vote!
Get a call from the Pima County Recorder’s Office? CALL BACK! They have a question about your ballot. They try to reach you by phone, text, email or snail mail. Sometimes they even reach out to your household members! Feeling suspicious. Look up the website and call main number.
If you are under the impression that it suddenly takes Maricopa County AZ a long time to count votes, look at this chart.
Fastest counting in a primary since at least 2006.
Races are just sometimes so tight now, you have to wait for the last ballots for results.
As you may have heard, computer outages are happening all over the country today. Our early voting sites and offices have NOT been affected by this issue.
