Today we’re relaunching our #FloatToLive campaign to remind people what to do if they get into difficulty in the water this summer. If you find yourself in trouble, lean back, using your arms and legs to keep you afloat, until you’ve got control of your breathing.

HM Coastguard Dale and an ambulance. The Lifeboat crew assisted the transfer of the casualty to the ambulance and headed back to station at 5:00pm.

Four shouts over seven days for Angle Lifeboat!

The first shout was on the 11th of May when the crew were paged at 3:09pm to a 16ft vessel with engine failure off Dale Fort. The Lifeboat established a tow and took them to Neyland Marina.

boat at Milford Marina boat yard. Two casualty care trained crew were put ashore in the lock pits and transferred by marina staff in a van to the boat yard. The Lifeboat crew were first on scene and administered entonox and made the casualty comfortable until the arrival of

A busy week for Angle Lifeboat crew this week.
The crew were paged at 12:05pm today to assist a casualty suffering a suspected heart attack on Skomer Island.

The Lifeboat made good speed and arrived on scene at 12:38. Two crewmembers were put ashore to assess the casualty...

Once the casualty was loaded into the helicopter for transfer to the mainland and a waiting ambulance, with two of the coastguard team on board, Angle Lifeboat took the remaining coastguard team member back to Martins Haven....

After a steady tow the casualty vessel was alongside in Milford lock at 9:36pm. The lifeboat headed back to station and was back on its mooring at 10pm. The crew headed home for their late dinner!

It was the second shout in two days for Angle Lifeboat crew yesterday evening.
The pagers sounded just gone 7pm. The tasking was to a 37ft yacht with two people on board 8 miles south of St Ann's Head that had suffered gearbox failure. It was being towed by a smaller yacht .....

but required further assistance.

In perfect conditions Angle Lifeboat was on scene at 7.51pm. The smaller yacht was struggling to make headway while towing the larger vessel. The decision was made for them to drop their tow and Angle Lifeboat crew to establish a tow to......

The lifeboat headed back to station and was back on the moorings at 5:08am.
The crew headed home and back to bed.

The crew of Angle Lifeboat had an early start to the Bank Holiday today.
The crew were paged at 2:22am to assist with a multi agency incident at the Cleddau bridge.
The lifeboat was on scene at 2:52am and stayed in position until being stood down by the coastguard at 4:38am.
