๐จ I WAS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER HELPING MY NEIGHBOURS ESCAPE A MASSIVE FIRE IN WANDSWORTH.
At approximately 1:30am, I returned home to find a terrifying flat fire in Ibsley Gardens, Wandsworth.

I risked my own health protecting my neighbours. I donโt want a medal, recognition or special treatment.
I simply want my community to be treated with the same humanity I showed others.
Yet just down the road, Wandsworth Council and Enable have excluded our Muslim community from our prayer and community space at Open Door.
We are deeply concerned about how our community has been treated.
Iโm a Muslim man.
That night, I didnโt ask who was Muslim, Christian, Jewish or anything else.
I didnโt ask where anyone came from.
I saw human beings in danger. I saw my neighbours. And I acted.
I called emergency services and ran through the block, banging on doors to wake residents and warn them.
There were few explosions(everyone heard). Over 100 people gathered outside.
I inhaled so much smoke that I was rushed to hospital.
But I would do it again.
