It’s been a month or so since my last accountability update and I’ve lost a ton of weight hitchhiking across Eastern Europe so I figured I’m due for an update. I am far from my goal, but everyday I get closer. I hope my progress will encourage others to get back into shape and to live a healthy lifestyle.
Knives and seaxes were more than tools or weapons. They were symbols of freedom, status and identity. Across much of pre-Christian Europe, free men commonly carried a knife, while slaves (thralls) did not.
An Old English proverb says:
"A man without a knife is a man without a life."
As a man of Anglo-Saxon ancestry, of which I am extremely proud, can I carry one to honour their traditions?
No.
Didn't think so. 🙄
We must, without question, return to the tradition of revering our gods and goddesses as part of our blood and soil.
The alternative to this foundation is the hellscape we're enduring right now.
