Before Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri N Biren Singh launched the War on Drugs campaign in 2018, countless lives were destroyed, families were torn apart & the future of many youths had already been stolen by the drugs menace in Manipur.

While the drugs business is being effectively tackled under Hon'ble CM, Shri @NBirenSingh leadership, the threat still remains. The people must realise by now that drugs are also used as a weapon by those who wish to destroy our community.

In a recent interview, KNO’s Commander in Chief, PS Haokip has openly claimed the involvement of the external forces i.e. the US in the plan to carve out a Christian state out of Burma, Bangladesh and India. He considers this as an assistance to the Chin-Kuki militants at the backdrop of the larger geopolitics concerning China and the North East region.

In another interview, he stated that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu should take interest towards the Bnei Menashe tribe, which has been identified as the Kuki-Zo community, because they are Israelis. PS Haokip identifies himself as a member of the Bnei Menashe tribe.

Hon’ble Chief Minister @NBirenSingh has also pointed out the involvement of foreign entities in the ongoing unrest and dynamics in the region, further highlighting the complex intersection of internal and external factors influencing the current situation.
