Merlin feeling isolated, Arthur and Morgana both envious of each other's relationship with their father early on, the connotations of genocide the pendragon name carries, there is so much to explore in this show I would love to see more people delve into topics deeper than death
No hate to people who edit Arthur's death but I wish we as a fandom would talk more about the other angst of the show
the Merlin is tragic, ik my favorite topic to edit/write is Merlin's devotion to Arthur to the point of surpassing his morals, there is so much more to explore
Arthur being seen as a prince first and son second by his father, Morgana being afraid of who she is, Gwen losing everyone around her, Merlin forgetting himself over time, Lancelot never getting peace, Gwen and Arthur never learning the truth about Lance's resurgence...
He is literally wearing Arthur's or at least a royal one because the strap of the cape is obviously engraved precious metal along with higher quality leather, the other Knights' cape straps are simpler leather with a simpler metal
