It also serves as something to maintain players, in event the genshin story would come to an end or something. It's just to milk genshin players, so they'll never remove it.

@Surfer103 @namelsstraveler @GenshinImpact Indeed they don't. The very beginning of the game is a massive plot hole given what happens later, and there are many more scattered all over the place. Nothing was planned well, they just cook as they go. Lore feels like a funky crossover of hundreds of different games lol.

Just because you can play the story for free, doesn't make the game F2P friendly. Let's not forget it's an RPG, not a visual novel. Endgame is everything but F2P
