@NickJFreitas@AAGDhillon@USEEOC Now is the time to Bud Light them... legal fees fighting off government investigation & drop in revenue from boycott = maximum pressure to change course.
Swing and a miss! Major League Baseball encouraged players to wear “Black Lives Matter” on their uniforms but reportedly threatened Christians who write Bible verses on their hats. @USEEOC will investigate whether this amounts to religious discrimination.
I 100% agree with this. I want sports to return to being apolitical refuges for people to put differences aside and root for their favorite teams together.
That also means there shouldn't be team/league sponsored woke/gay/religious shit. I honestly want to see all the heritage celebrations go away too. How about we go back to being proud of being American and rebuild our sense of community as a nation?
BREAKING: Minor league baseball team ‘York Revolution’ in PA was forced to CANCEL their Pride Night baseball game after players REFUSED to wear the rainbow Pride jerseys.
The team's club is now hosting a separate pride event without any baseball game.
Good on the players for refusing to participate in pushing radical gender ideology and standing up for their beliefs!

If it was this one thing I'd agree with you, and I understand your sentiment. As a bay area spots fan I've had to deal with over a decade of my favorite teams trashing my values and I'm now in the phase of my life where I'm raising young kids. I don't want to have to explain politics or pride events to my 4 year old while watching a sporting event. It's literally the furthest thing from his mind and I want to protect that as long as possible.
@ThoRCol@RobSchneider@MLB Walker and Roup make 800k a year. Brubaker signed a 1.8m contract.
The ones that get paid in free agency make a ton. Guys who are new to the league aren't raking in as much as you think.
Yes, if you would harm your child you should not have kids. As a parent you sacrifice your wants in favor of your child's needs. It's completely counter cultural to a society that has told us that we can have/do whatever we want.
If you're not ready to make that sacrifice then you're not ready for kids. But I pray that one day you're ready to accept that sacrifice so you can experience the joy of your child's unconditional love and the sense of pride you'll take in every one of your child's accomplishments.
Based on how you've conducted yourself in this thread and how thoughtful you are on this topic I think you'll be a great father when you're ready.
As far as being pro choice goes I think it's easy to have that position when you don't have kids (I leaned more pro choice before my kids were born). Watching your kids develop tends to change your position on things.
I will say that my only regret in life is waiting so long to have kids. I wish I could have more.
Don't let fear keep you from doing the thing that will give you the most joy in life. Until you have kids you can't comprehend the amount of joy that is possible from loving your kids
If you would kill your child because of down syndrome then yes, you should not have kids.
As a parent your sole responsibility is to protect your child. They are innocent, defenseless and on this issue voiceless. "I don't want" does not give you the excuse to violate that responsibility.
I dont think you understand just how good the AI has gotten. Of course every company is going to structure their workforce slightly differently, but the point is you can now do the work of 10 analysts with 1 or 2.
Scale that across every company and its apocalyptic for young people trying to enter that workforce.
