Ce:LYSO gemstones are back! They all have a bright blue fluorescence, and some have a bit of a blue afterglow as well. You'll need to cup your hands around the stone after charging to see it, but it's pretty neat.
LYSO is used as a scintillator and is a cool gemstone. #合成沼

This is a rare labmade crystal normally used for pressure sensing in diamond anvils. We got a custom boule grown for us, and it turned out great. Bright orange fluorescence on a clear crystal! #合成沼

@konomi17 Has anyone in the Japanese synthetic gem community heard of "Earth Jewelry Co Ltd. "? They were in Kobe, Japan. They sold rutile, SrTiO3, Cr2O3 crystals, and other lab gems. The only references I can find are in scientific papers, most recent from 2009. #合成沼
