I wonder why 90 days.
Couldn’t be because the midterms are in… 74 days, right? Right?
Apparently communist price controls are fine when you’re trying to get votes. Who knew?
The Daily Beast published letters that Trump’s 35-year-old aide Natalie Harp allegedly wrote to him
“You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life”

It’s absolutely insane.
You can’t — or you sure as hell shouldn’t be able to — just opt out of a personnel security investigation.
This administration is treating national security lessons that we’ve learned in blood like they’re simply a suggestion.
She “declined?” “Declined”? You can’t just decline to get a security clearance. You either get one or you don’t have a job. So much dysfunction in this White House. When will the GOP have had enough? Why risk the country for this? https://t.co/X0unu3P0FX
@Triode_in_situ I understand why you would think this, but as we’ve seen in the Iran war - everyone is susceptible to drone swarms.
We’ve known for decades that swarming attacks were the best way to defeat integrated air defense systems. Drones just lower the cost to play.
It’s really impressive that anyone could watch the wars in Ukraine and Iran and determine that we… don’t need drone battalions.
What are we even doing here?
SCOOP: The elimination of a futuristic drone battalion is part of a broader “back-to-basics” approach ordered up by Gen. Christopher LaNeve, the acting chief of staff of the Army who is closely aligned with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The battalion was a signature initiative of LaNeve’s predecessor, Gen. Randy George, whom Hegseth ousted in April. https://t.co/bwjP6L0MNa
Wiles wanted Jennings from the beginning.
He’ll be a perfect propagandist for the administration. He clearly has no qualms with getting on TV and lying his ass off.
NEW w/ @wsteaks: Scott Jennings is making a push to replace Karoline Leavitt as WH press secretary.
After clips of Jennings defending Natalie Harp made their way around the WH — including some he sent to senior staffers himself — he reached out to schedule a private meeting with Susie Wiles over the weekend, a person close to the WH told me.
No decision was made and no offer extended. The process to replace Leavitt remains slow-moving, multiple people familiar tell @playbookdc.
The escalation ladder Russia and NATO are on is reaching the dangerous rungs.
US intelligence assesses that Russia is planning another direct provocation on NATO.
NATO is flying their most aggressive ISR route/show of force around Kaliningrad in recent memory.
Easy to see how quickly this could go sideways.
@Aoisekat What part of my tweet suggested that I preferred NATO to “sit back and do fk all”?
I’m glad they’re standing up to Russia. Doesn’t mean this isn’t a dangerous situation.
All of these Natalie Harp stories are leaking for one reason:
Someone in the West Wing is sick of Harp’s shit.
Probably just a coincidence that it’s all happening as Leavitt is leaving.
Natalie Harp:
Writes letters to Trump saying things like, “you’re all I care about” and “I want things to always be right between us, with all my heart”
And forces her way into SUV cargo bays to follow him to court.
Totally normal aide-boss relationship. Not creepy at all.
Meet Natalie Harp, the aide so close to Trump she once rode in an SUV trunk to accompany him
“As the motorcade idled outside his Trump Tower residence, staffers confronted a more immediate problem: There wasn’t room for Harp, the hyper-loyal aide whose devotion to Trump had quickly entrenched her within his orbit.
A screaming match in the lobby ensued, with Harp insisting that Trump had personally asked her to attend the court appearance, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Denied a seat but determined not to be left behind, Harp jumped into an SUV trunk, according to the two sources and confirmed by a photo obtained by CNN.” W @adamcancryn

Trump said we'd grow "like nobody's ever grown before."
Bessent promised 3% growth by the end of 2026.
Instead, growth decelerated from 2.8% under Biden to 1.8% thus far this year.
My @nytopinion Chart:
He can say it however many times he wants, the fact remains that Iran is still targeting vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and the situation won’t stabilize until the administration pulls their heads out of their ass.
