@fieldhockeytube@sahockeyfan@FIH_Hockey@SuperSportTV@SA_Hockey I cannot believe how useless SuperSport and SAHA are. Probably the largest winter participation sport in the country - nobody knows about the World Cup, nor can we watch it, except on a useless phone app. Where’s our Minister of Sport @GaytonMcK in all this too? What a shambles.
@JHBWater Again, you are not telling us anything and are treating us like idiots. Give us a clear diagnosis of why these reservoirs are not filling, what actions are being undertaken and estimated timelines for resolution. That would be doing your basic communications job.
@JHBWater@Karina_Maxine Why did you let these reservoirs drop to such low levels in one day of maintenance. Surely their levels should have been maintained at a certain level during maintenance so that it doesn’t take 7 days for the system to recover?
@Karina_Maxine@JHBWater I think you made the mistake of thinking Joburg Water do any planning. I’m sure the water tankers are making a tidy profit though.
@Nelsonhdale Do you think axing SRP and replacing it with a longer season domestic professionalised club competition is viable, that will give more players opportunity and playing opportunity? Try and grow the game from the bottom up?
@EddieDeepfield@wilkinsoncape Erm, semantics. Should I call them Quintile 5 instead? It’s the same thing, “clown”. Gov pays the bare minimum to them, the majority of their budget is raised through fees, fundraising and donations. But great argument BTW.
@WillemPotZA@wilkinsoncape No, I disagree. A vote for the party is a vote for the party. It will empower them at a national level if they get votes at a local level. Rather give your vote to a more reliable alternative who aligns with your values. Rather let them grow at a local level.
@HelenZille4Jozi Sorry Helen, your party has lost my vote even though I think you’re head shoulders the best mayoral candidate by a huge margin. Rein in your education and agri ministers!!
@CVanDerWalt2@DA_GPL Yes, I’m still waiting for a response from @WatersMichael67 on this.Currently paying parents cover non-paying parents. The DA is proposing that the schools can’t even vet parents to make sure they do at least have some paying parents. Insanity and will be destructive. No response.
@WatersMichael67 The fees that they rely on to maintain a good standard of education, particularly now that the GDE has cut their funding further to minuscule amounts.
@WatersMichael67 Grateful if you can give a reply @WatersMichael67? Is the DA planning to take further powers away from the ex-Model C schools, including screening pupils and parents, such that they can’t even assess whether they will be reliable fee payers?
