⭕️ “A tool of torture”: Palestinian rights groups describe how Israel deliberately spreads disease in its prisons
Palestinian prisoner Azmi Abu Hail, 31, has suffered from scabies for more than a year in Israeli custody, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, which says disease and starvation continue to spread throughout Israel’s prison system.
Abu Hail, from Dura near Hebron, was detained January 2024. The organization says he continues to suffer from severe skin disease, persistent abdominal and stomach pain, loss of balance, and worsening health deterioration. Despite repeated requests, he has been denied medical testing and treatment.
According to his testimony, a prison doctor suggested his symptoms could potentially indicate cancer, but no diagnosis or follow-up care was provided.
The Prisoners’ Club says thousands of Palestinian prisoners have contracted scabies, which has spread through overcrowding, lack of hygiene supplies, restrictions on bathing, and the denial of clean clothing and proper medical care.
The group accused Israeli prison authorities of using disease, starvation, and medical neglect as tools of torture, warning that conditions have sharply deteriorated since October 2023. It noted that more than 100 Palestinian detainees and prisoners have died in Israeli custody during that period, with 89 publicly identified so far.
If you are offended by the Israeli government, meet the Israeli opposition: Lieberman calls for “flattening” southern Beirut. Most genocidal country in the world.
Israeli ministers who have openly called for the ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, and starvation of Palestinians marched in New York City’s "Israel Day Parade" alongside Israeli lawmakers and U.S. officials.
Among them were Bezalel Smotrich, who is facing an ICC arrest warrant request as international scrutiny and has called for the destruction of Gaza and the displacement of its population, and Amichai Eliyahu, who previously suggested using nuclear weapons against the besieged Strip.
The President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly, has declared that Israel is a terrorist state. You won’t find this kind of courage anywhere in the Zionist-ruled US and UK governments.
The @BBCWorld is pathetically & quite disgracefully timid in the face of pro-Israeli lobbying. They are spectacularly failing to tell truth to power
"Israel me golpeó, me torturó y me agredió sexualmente, a mi y a mis compañeros activistas humanitarios. Me llevaron a un contenedor del barco-prisión y me agredieron sexualmente, ¿como es posible que nuestro gobierno llame amigo y aliado a Israel?".
Activistas australianos que acudieron a Gaza a llevar medicamentos y alimentos para los niños palestinos, denunciaron violaciones y palizas por parte de los soldados sionistas de "Israel".
¿Donde están los medios de comunicación occidentales dando voz a estas mujeres activistas violadas por los soldados de "Israel"?
⭕️ NYT Called Every Major Gaza City a “Hamas Stronghold,” New Book Documents
A new book by media critic Adam Johnson, How to Sell a Genocide: The Media’s Complicity in the Destruction of Gaza, documents how the New York Times used the term “Hamas stronghold” 154 times between October 2023 and October 2024, almost always while reporting on war crimes or pending war crimes.
Johnson shows the paper applied the label to all five of Gaza’s most populated cities, including refugee camps like Jabaliya, where an Israeli strike killed upwards of 120 people in an October 2023 attack. The NYT headline read: “Israel Strike Targets Hamas Stronghold in Dense Gaza Area.”
The book argues the framing militarized civilian areas in the public imagination to justify their destruction.
Smotrich: "It's either us or them. There is no middle ground. We are killing the idea of a Palestinian state."
The finance minister just admitted what the world pretends not to see: this isn't about security. It's about expansion. One people erased so another can expand
This Labour MP lobbied the Home Office to ban political commentators from entering the UK, and Shabana Mahmood complied.
But did you know that David Taylor received money from Labour Together whilst they had an ex-IDF soldier on their board?
Here’s what the paper trail shows:🧵
Israel destroying the foundations of humanity, literally & figuratively.
As the world unifies in horror, we can unify to stop the madness.
Complete military, economic, diplomatic boycott of genocidal Israel now.
Trump's Board of Peace is in financial crisis and wants to use funds taken from the Palestinian Authority to pay for Gaza's reconstruction. Palestinians would pay twice over: money stolen from the West Bank would be used to cement Gaza's occupation.

⭕️ Israel arrested at least 35 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank overnight, including four female students from Birzeit University, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported.
The arrests were concentrated in Tulkarem and Nablus, with additional raids reported in Ramallah, Hebron, and occupied Jerusalem. The detainees also included several formerly imprisoned Palestinians.
The Prisoners’ Club said Israel has sharply escalated arrests, field interrogations, and home raids since the start of 2026, continuing a broader campaign that has intensified since the war on Gaza began. It warned that women are increasingly being targeted through arrests, hostage-taking tactics against family members, nighttime raids, and harsh interrogations.
According to the organization, more than 23,000 arrests have been carried out across the occupied West Bank since October 2023.

Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) activists who were detained, tortured and deported by Israel after trying to deliver aid to Gaza have submitted an official communication to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Organisers have accused Israeli military commanders and top politicians of war crimes, crimes against humanity, torture and conduct relevant to genocide.
Activists among the 428 people abducted on 20 May say they were beaten, tasered and sexually assaulted whilst in Israeli detention.
“The submission presented to the ICC focuses heavily on the severe and widespread abuses committed against civilians, including journalists, medics and human rights defenders, as part of a coordinated campaign of violence documented during the spring 2026 missions,” the organisers said.
“This is not only about what was done to GSF participants,” they added in a post on Instagram. “It is about the thousands of Palestinians who have faced and continue to face the same system of abuse, impunity and violence.”
Since returning to their countries of origin, multiple activists have shared testimonies about their experiences in Israel.
"You entered through one door and a group of six or seven people would beat you mercilessly until you emerged from the other side," said Italian journalist and flotilla participant Alessandro Mantovani. "And they’d say 'Welcome to Israel.'”
Juliet Lamont, an Australian activist, said: “We were tortured. I was put down, cable-tied, they put so much water under me for an hour that I thought I was going to drown. I was sexually assaulted in this kind of torture chamber.”
“People were raped, people were tortured, people were assaulted in the worst ways possible,” said GSF organiser Thiago Ávila. “And the worst thing is to know that they do much worse with Palestinians.”
Israel’s national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, released footage of the detainees being forced onto their knees and humiliated.
At least 900 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since a so-called ceasefire was declared in October.
