Lately, I’ve been realizing how easy it is to feel like you’re behind in life…
not because anything is actually wrong,
but because you can see what everyone else is doing.
You open your phone and it’s progress everywhere.
Someone just got a new job.
Someone is traveling.
Someone is building something.
And even if you’re doing okay,
it still feels like you should be doing more.
It’s a strange kind of pressure.
Because nobody is directly telling you anything…
but somehow it still feels like you’re being measured.
I think what people don’t say enough is that
life doesn’t really move at the same pace for everyone.
Some things take longer to make sense.
Some progress is quiet.
Some growth doesn’t look like anything at all from the outside.
And sometimes, just not giving up is already progress.
It may not look impressive.
But it counts.

Talent is not enough to break through as an African. You need to be in proximity to information and that depends on your circle.
This is the work I have done for over 5 years on social media. I am glad we are moving the needle in the right direction.
May God bless us.
It is not easy but it is possible.
